Skin peeling and bleaching

Most of my friends want their skin to look white and beautiful. We understand that a lot of people especially those in showbiz undergo skin peeling. So, how safe is skin peeling or skin bleaching? I've also searched in some credible health magazines about this topic and it says that skin peeling and skin bleaching are two different things. Tretinoin is an example of skin peeling substance. It
